Research and development in the field of renewable energies

The Steinbeis Innovationszentrum Energie und Umwelttechnik research interests include the development and application of large thermal storage based on hot water and latent heat storage materials. In particular a latent heat storage has been developed on the basis of salt hydrates without the usual problems on Latent heat storages.
