Electronic Design Chemnitz GmbH is an innovative technology company which has specialized itself on the development, testing and production of customer specific electronical overall systems and circuits. The portfolio of services in the integrated circuit design ranges from low-power systems to high voltage systems. EDC develops among others high-voltage applications or mixed-signal ASICs, for example for the evaluation and control of electronics for MEMS applications (including yaw rate, acceleration, pressure, proximity). The core competencies in a discrete circuit design includes the development of power electronic circuits, the design of power circuits for frequency on the MOSFET and IGBT-base, the design of control algorithms for electrical drives (BLDC, ASM, PMSM ) and the design of processor platforms on DSP-, FPGA-, ASIC- and microcontroller-base as well as the analysis of analog sensors. The design of the firm- and software as well as development-related measurements, series tests and quality control of all proprietary products by undertaking in-house tests are rounding off EDC’s service portfolio.
