The company LSE-Lightweight Structures Engineering GmbH was founded in 2008 as spin-off from the CUT-Chemnitz University of Technology, Department of Lightweight Structures and Polymer Technology. Our services cover the whole range of development processes from computation, simulation, technology development through to final component. The business focus is on the development and manufacturing of structure integrated and multifunctional lightweight components and the control engineering.



The implementation of practical scientific and technological results in complex multifunctional lightweight composite structures is realized by means of sensory, actuatory and regenerative functional modules. Together with customers we develop products and new process chains by combination of various base technologies. Our activities are characterized by interdisciplinary forms of cooperation in the fields of lightweight construction, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, applied physics, polymer chemistry and textile technologies.
