The Institute for Corrosion Protection Dresden (ICS) has been a research site and service provider in the field of corrosion and corrosion protection for 50 years. The service passes for both small and medium-sized enterprises as well as large-scale industry in various special areas, especially practical tasks for corrosion protection. The research activities are being carried out in following departments: "Metallic materials and electrochemistry", "Organic coatings", "Coatings and Analytics" and "Corrosion protection and process engineering". Among other things, the ICS is being engaged in testing, certification and monitoring of coating materials according to the technical delivery and testing requirements of the Federal Street rules reglament. The ICS offers different seminars and conference preparatory courses for coating inspectors. Furthermore, you can receive the certificate while training, provided by the Federal Association for Corrosion Protection e.V.
