Cortex Biophysik was founded in 1991 as an innovative company with activities in the field of medical equipment. In its research and development efforts the company is concentrating on ergospirometry, a special field of cardiopulmonary diagnostics. In ergospirometric examinations it is possible to measure all relevant functional variables of the circulatory and respiratory systems in exercise tests. In addition to the core segment of mobile and stationary ergospirometry systems, our range of products also comprises ECG systems, patient monito-ring equipment, an ergospirometry system for horses and a software expert system for cardiac risk assessment.
