M&S Umweltprojekt GmbH engages itself in the fields of dangerous waste contamination, construction sites, landfills, environmental acceptability and environmental audits. Through geological, hydrological and historical investigations, chemical analysis and ground-physics examinations, suspected contaminated sites are assessed, therefore allowing concrete danger appraisals and damage evaluations to be produced. With the help of these appraisals and evaluations and the knowledge of the site’s following use, the sanitation concept, which consists of the planning, monitoring and finishing of the clean-up, is constructed. Our work with landfills and disposal sites includes the planing of new landfills, as well as the toughening up and monitoring of alredy standing landfills. More specifically, we work out plans for building the trash and debris layers and constructing the cover and seal of the landfill, as well as calculating and giving prognoses for the setting of the refuse. Also belonging to this field is the calculation and modelling of the possible migration of harmful substances. Investigation to construction sites and examinations of ground samples are carried out in order to determine the physical and mechanical properties of the ground. Our in-house laboratory additionally allows for investigations in the fields of solid-body physics, mineralogy and metallography. Alongside the planning and monitoring of compost systems, evalutions, of economics, of water and disposal as well as environmental protection. M&S Umweltprojects GmbH also undertakes assessments of environmental impact and is active in the environmental audit field.
