MAT PlasMATec GmbH specializes in the application of coatings and surfacetreatments for medical products. The company is certificated according with DIN EN ISO 13485, 2003. MAT is an innovative technology enterprise in the fields of surface technologies. We carry out coating service, research and development, design and construction of special coating equipment aimed at improving the properties of materials used in the medicine. Surface properties like hardness, lubricity, hemocompatibility, infection resistance, wettability, biomolecule immobilization, tissue engineering or drug delivery can be influenced by single or multifunctional surface treatments or coatings. We are committed to assisting you in solving your material problems, and we elaborate specific designs of coating to each customer. For this purpose, we have latest plants for ion implantation, physical and plasma-chemical vapor deposition and special techniques at your disposal. Material research and technology has a long tradition in Saxony and so we have efficient partners in the universities and industrial research centers in Dresden, Freiberg and Chemnitz.
