Siltronic is one of the world's leading suppliers of wafers made from hyperpure silicon. We produce wafers throughout the world - in a value chain network that has five state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and numerous production lines.
Wafers made from hyperpure silicon form the basis for the production of semiconductor elements and are therefore indispensable for practically all electronic components.

The silicon wafers are characterized by their diameter, their crystal orientation, the doping additive and their surface finish. Siltronic's product portfolio ranges from non-polished to epitaxially coated wafers up to diameters of 300 mm.

The wafers are based on silicon monocrystals, made either in a Czochralski crystal pulling furnace or using float zone technology. The surface finish of the wafers is determined by a variety of manufacturing processes and tailored exactly for each purpose.

Siltronic's product portfolio ranges from non-polished to epitaxially coated wafers up to diameters of 300 mm. This makes it possible to saw, lap and etch the wafers, to polish them, to give them thermal treatment or to apply epitaxial coating. For diameters of 200 mm and 300 mm, we also provide so-called SOI wafers.
