The Mittweida Modular System is a universal system based on
microcontrollers. It has been developed for industrial applications
and can be used for research and teaching. The system consists of
single blocks separately fixed on modules. All modules can be
combined. The modules are defined by the size of 100 mm x
80 mm, which is the standard size of 1/2 EUROPA-board.
Current applications for the modules are:
- Testing device for prothesis and ortheses
- GSM-based field test, air cable
- Prototyping for training devices
