Adapted Solutions is a provider of innovative simulation and calculation software
and services in the field of simulation and software development. Core products
are the network calculation software CERBERUS and the system simulator Portunus
which have been marketed since 2004 and 2006 respectively.
At present, there are approx. 70 commercial users of CERBERUS. Most of them
work in German power utilities and use CERBERUS for evaluating the integration
of renewable energy into the power grid and for power grid planning.
Portunus is a software for the simulation of multi-domain systems and their control.
Application examples of Portunus include, among others, the design of inverters
for photovoltaic systems, regenerative brake systems, and electric storage systems
for mobile applications.
