DBI Gas- und Umwelttechnik GmbH (DBI GUT) is an engineering company
which combines the development of new technologies for using renewable
gaseous energy carriers with the practical implementation of such technologies.

and grid transport all the way to the efficient, environmentally friendly use of

DBI Gas- und Umwelttechnik GmbH is working on the integration of renewable energy carriers into the natural gas grid as well as into underground gas storages. The aim of the latest developments are the system analysis of future gas supply, the concept development of energy storage technologies particular Power-to-Gas, the evaluation of hydrogen injection into the gas grid. Additionally the storage of hydrogen in underground gas storages is investigated, particularly the integrity of cap rock, bore hole equipment and well heads as well as the operation of storage facilities. For the enhancement of transport capacity in gas grids methanation technologies were developed. Furthermore the impact of injected hydrogen on gas appliances in industry and households ia investigated. Beside this fuel processing units for fuel-cell applications will be developed. Fuels are Natural Gas, Liquid Petroleum Gas, Biogas as well as mixtures of these gases.
